San Francisco… I head out here for the food and the music honestly. Great concerts all the time, great night life and great local shopping as well.

Things to do >>

-Take a tour out to Alcatraz prison; you can set out from the marina about an hours long, $30 USD Cruise the Golden Gate and get to see prison from the inside.

-Visit The Exploratorium; an interactive museum with great exhibits and a great view from Bay Observatory. Must check out wave organ a wave-activated acoustic sculpture located on the bay right outside the exhibit. Sounds like a place to take the kids but it is actually fun for adults as well!

-Walk around Fisherman’s Wharf on Pier 39; you can visit the sea lion center and eat the best chowder bread bowl soup. All along the PIER you will find local shopping stores, coffee spots and great seafood restaurants.

-Walk or bike the Golden Gate bridge through “Vista Point” for an amazing view of the structure and bay. You can rent a bike for $10 and take a tour through the bridge.

-Visit Chinatown for some great food and shopping. You can spend a couple of hours here, EASY! Great picture spots, great shops with unique items from China, and really good food and teas.

-Visit San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.

-Famous Lombardi St, yes it’s famous if you’re in SF you might as well check it out but that’s basically it, you drive by it or walk down in 2 minutes.
