It's Hollywood babyyy

Many many manyyyy things to do..  a bizillion restaurant and bar options to head out to, I have been there about 20 times and I still find new spots to check out every time. There is beach, there is music, there is people from all over the world, art, and nightlife. You can’t go wrong with LA, ever!

 

 

What to do >>

-Get artsy.. head out to Getty Museum, Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena, MOCA in LA, Long Beach Museum of Art and Museum of Latin American Art also in LB and a must LACMA.

-Head out to Santa Monica Pier for some food, bars, arcade and why not, a Ferris Wheel.

-Venice Beach is a must in LA, walk around the boardwalk and just people watch, I swear it’s incredibly entertaining, Plus you get to see the most famous Open air-beach gym.

-Visit Griffith Observatory, you can’t see much through the telescope due to the smog but the building itself is amazing, as well as the exhibitions in house.

-Visit Watts Towers, 17 scrap metal structures built by Italian artist Simon Rodia,

-There’s always the happiest place on earth… Disneyland

-And if all else fails, shopping always helps (even window shopping), head out to Rodeo Drive, Fashion Island in Newport or The Lab Anti-Mall in Costa Mesa.

 

 

Where to eat>>

Laurel Hardware >Santa Monica .American cuisine, very relaxed atmosphere and a vintage decor setting. $20-40 USD

The Tasting Kitchen > Abbot Kinney. Head out here for some breakfast or brunch, they have the best bloody Mary’s and them chicken waffleees. $15-30 USD

Eveleigh > W Hollywood. Rustic decor, cozy feel, craft drinks, farm to table. $30-60 USD

Republique > La Brea . Modern French plates served in a striking space with communal tables, plus a bakery & cocktail bar. $40-60 USD

Pork Belly’s > Abbot Kinney. Sandwiches stuffed with BBQ beef and pork.. nothing fancy but best sandwich eVAA $10-15

Roosevelt > /downtown LA. $200-300

Where to partaaaay

No Vacancy > Santa Monica. speakeasy bar t the Juniper Hotel. Head out for great music and awesome cocktails.

The Bungalow > Santa Monica. My favorite of all! unique Baja style cottage with 5 different sitting areas, great food, drinks, music, this is a super must!

Basement Tavern > Santa Monica. most creative cocktails in town with live jazz music.

Standardt Rooftop > Hollywood. nightfloor, DJ’s, Biergarden.. and the best view in town.

Harvard & Stone > Hollywood. Buzzy bar with a factorylike vibe offers inventive cocktails, live music & burlesque some nights

-Longbeach, Venice Beach, Hermosa Beach, Newport Beach, Malibu, Pasadena, Carpinteria,

 

TIPS >>

-If you don’t have a car, UBER it!

-If you’re into music there’s always some band playing of course, make sure to check it out, I use “bandsintown” app and works wonders!
